Boxing star Claressa Shields is back in the ring, facing Lani Daniels at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The pair square off in a championship bout with the undisputed heavyweight title on the line.
Undefeated Shields (16-0, 3 KOs), a two-time Olympic gold medalist and the only boxer to achieve undisputed status in three weight classes, defends her title in front of her hometown crowd. Two-division champion Daniels (11-2-2, 1 KO), from New Zealand, looks to reclaim her place at the top of the heavyweight division.
In the co-feature, former champion Tony Harrison of Detroit returns to face Edward Ulloa Diaz Edward Diaz of the Dominican Republic at middleweight.
On the Shields vs Daniels undercard, Samantha Worthington and Victoire Piteau battle it out for the interim WBA super lightweight title. Plus, Caroline Veyre and Licia Boudersa meet in a WBC featherweight title eliminator.
