Boxing world championship is back in New York with Shakur Stevenson facing off against William Zepeda at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Corona, NY. The unbeaten world champion, Stevenson of Newark, New Jersey, makes the third defense of his WBC lightweight title. The unbeaten interim WBC 135-pound champion, Zepeda, from Mexico, looks to capture one of four major belts.
In the co-feature, Edgar Berlanga and Hamzah Sheeraz square off at super middleweight. Plus, Alberto Puello defends his WBC super lightweight title against former champion Subriel Matias. Additionally, David Morrell takes on Imam Khataev in a light heavyweight bout.
