World-class boxing is back in Japan as Masanori Rikiishi faces Eduardo “Sugar” Nunez at BUNTAI Yokohama. The pair battle it out for the vacant IBF title at super featherweight.
Both the Japanese southpaw Rikiishi (16-1, 11 KOs) and Mexican knockout artist Nunez (27-1, 27 KOs) make their first attempt to become world champion.
In another world championship bout, Yoshiki Takei of Japan meets Yuttapong Tongdee of Thailand. Takei (10-0, 8 KOs) makes the second defense of his WBO bantamweight title, while Tongdee (15-0, 9 KOs) fights for his first major belt.
